(as posted in Achilles' Getting the "Cairo Treatment" from UCLA football fanshot: If you're on Twitter, how about a @ bomb to @UCLAAthletics? I know that whoever tweets under that account is probably a lowly staffer or work study student who has no power at all and doesn’t deserve any abuse, but I think that if they see that they are getting bombarded with questions about the deafening silence on football news then hopefully we can prod them into saying something, ANYTHING. Good news: this could be an indication that Austin is a quality candidate. Bad news: this could keep the coaching situation at UCLA uncertain for few more days.

It's not great news for us, but interesting nonetheless. Looks like Fangio is probably not coming, and Stanfurd is planning on pulling a very non-Stanford-like stunt in offering Harbaugh a ton of money.
