Some of you may have noticed some blue and gold behind the basket during today's NCAA Basketball West Regional Final. The UCLA softball team was honored by the NCAA during the game's halftime for their championship season in 2010. One of the perks of winning, I suppose!

Photo Credit: Official Site Has UCLA softball ever been "mercied"? I am really interested in hearing the perspectives from Daynuh and others who have been following this program closely. What unfolded last night on national TV was troubling. GO BRUINS.

Congrats to our softball team for a great season. I will defer to our Daynuh33 and wait for her perspective on this weekend's action. A huge thanks to her for keeping us plugged in the entire season. I have no doubt the youngsters from this team are going to learn from this experience and come back stronger next season. As for Kelly Inouye Perez, I am going to wait for two or three more years worth of data points before reaching a conclusion on her coaching abilities. But for now ... a huge congrats to the girls ... for putting together a memorable season. GO BRUINS.
