2013 UCLA Football Fall Camp: Mora, Hundley, Barr & XSF’s Thoughts on Last Day in San Bernardino

2013 UCLA Football Fall Camp: Mora, Hundley, Barr & XSF’s Thoughts on Last Day in San Bernardino

Bruins wrapped up their pre-season camp in San Bernardino earlier this with a light practice. Our guys are heading back to Westwood this afternoon and then take tomorrow am. They will get back to action on Monday preparing for a (must win) season opener against Nevada.

Ralph posted a quick video highlight of camp wrap-up comments from the three leaders - Brett Hundley, Anthony Barr and XSF. I liked how the Hundley clip ended as the redshirt -sophomore put it, "we have built the foundation (in SB) but still have to build the house."

Here were Coach Mora's comments after practice:

His closing comments on campus were pretty general coachspeak. Although, he pointed out one specific way the camp was different this year compared to last. Mora mentioned that this year he didn't put the starters through as much "LIVE" drills like he did last year because he feels good about our starting group. Instead he seemed to suggest that he used the camp this year to find out what he has in our talented group of underclassmen (specifically this year's freshmen class).

Mora also had good news on the injury front. He suggested the team is healthy saying most of the nicked up guys including Simon Goines, Eddie Vanderdoes, Ben Wysocki, Ellis McCarthy and others will be back in action on Monday.

Lastly, Mora is a big Led Zeppelin fan but I will go with the guy who was being blasted in the background of Mora's video (this tune):

GO BRUINS.
