Tragedy: UCLA WR Nick Pasquale Killed in Car Accident

Doug Pensinger

The preferred walk-on from San Clemente was struck by a vehicle this morning.

News is coming out about this tragic accident this morning:

Pasquale is a red shirt freshman from San Clemente.  With the bye week, he was probably at home with his family.

From the OC Register (not behind the firewall)

According to an Orange County Sheriff’s Department log entry, OCSD responded to a report of a pedestrian being hit. A 20-year-old was pronounced dead at the accident scene.

Pasquale is a preferred walk-on, and had been working with the scout team.

Prayers to Nick's family, friends and his teammates during this absolutely trying time for all of them.  We'll update this as we get more information.

UPDATE:  There will be a vigil tonight in San Clemente for Nick:
