Recruiting Breakdown

I've been hearing a lot about how well Karl Dorrell is recruiting lately.  Granted, we do have some nice four star commits, and things look good on Moline.  As far as superstud Bradford out of Colton, I have a bad feeling he'll be wearing Catsup and Mustard when it's all said and done.

For a look at past recruiting, look here.

From 1998-2002, we had top ten classes twice, and top 15 classes four times, top 20 every year.

Karl Dorrell, from the 2003-05 classes has had the 23rd, 24th, and 24th.

If you recall, a number of Blindos insisted that last year's class was the best class in recent memory. Umm, no.  That would be the 1998 class, which was #3 in the composite rankings, number one in many rankings.

But, according to Blindo, there were a number of players in that class who "didn't live up to expectations."  However, Circulo assures us that because Karl Dorrell has a unique knack for finding sleepers, surely all of the two star players Dorrell signed will end up garnering All Pac-10 honors.

Don't buy the hype.  Mav's site to debunk this myth and for a further analysis of recruiting and the gaping holes left on the roster by three years of subpar Dorrell recruiting.

All I'm saying is, let's not get ahead of ourselves.
