Couple of articles from the heartland that have UCLA implications. First, keep an eye on the reports coming out of the Sooners training camp. Stoops could have potential quarterback controversy in his hands between Thompson and Bomar. I have a feeling Stoops will have it all figured out before they roll into the Rose Bowl on Sept. 17th, the question is will Dorrell will have our QB situation all figured out?
Also a nice story from Kansas City on Freddie Mitchell. Freddie is thriving under papa Bruin's (Dick Vermeil) watchful eyes. Good for him. I can't wait to see him catching TDs and thanking God for his hands! GO BRUINS.
