The Hunt for Number 100

We are going to look everywhere for signs of good karma this weekend. Our women's soccer team got the party started by earning their 4th straight trip to NCAA's "College Cup" - soccer Final-4 - on Friday. And now the men's soccer have gotten into act.

The boys just pulled out a huge win over number 1 Duke in the NCAA quarterfinals earning UCLA's 12th appearance in Men's College Cup. And they did it dramatic fashion. After falling behind 0-2, they came back to win 3-2 in OT. Zizzo, a classic soccer name, scored the tying goal with two minutes to go in regular session and then scored the winning goal just 30 seconds into the over time setting off a wild celebration:

Here is the recap. So looks like either one of our soccer teams just may bring home championship number 100. Not a bad way to start of this game week.
