Arron-Jordan: Team Co-MVPs

While the spotlight is on AA and JF re. their pro aspirations, they were on center stage last night at the annual UCLA team banquet. Not surprisingly they were given the Coach John Wooden award as the team MVPs. From the official site:

UCLA starting sophomore guards and co-captains, Arron Afflalo and Jordan Farmar, were given the Coach John Wooden Award as the Bruins' co-Most Valuable Players Tuesday at UCLA's annual Hoopsters Awards/Dinner Banquet held at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza.

Both first-team All-Pac-10 players, Afflalo and Farmar helped lead UCLA this season to the NCAA Championship game (first time since 1995), the Pac-10 Regular Season title (first time since 1997) and to the Pac-10 Tournament Championship (first time since 1987). In 2005-06, the Bruins tied the school record for most wins (32) and set the school mark for most games played (32-7, 39 games).
