Championship No. 99

So just one more to go.

Women's waterpolo brings home NCAA Championship number 99 by scoring a last second goal over the community college from South Central. We won by a score of 9-8. Here is the AP Story. Here is Courtney (Mathewson) who scored the winning goal:

It was the program's 8th national title. More from the official website. Congratulations to Courtney and all her team-mates.

And also congratulations to Coach Adam Krikorian for winning his fifth national championship as head coach of the women's water polo team and his eighth championship as head coach in men's and women's combined. He like rest of the coaches in the UCLA athletics program (except Karl Dorrell and Kathy Olivier) is a winning machine.
