Again great seasons for UCLA softball and baseball even though they came up short. First of the ladies who lost to Northwestern yesterday by a score of 3-1. For the second year in a row a Big-10 team ended the season of Yankees of softball. Oh well. I am sure these girls will come back with a vengeance next season:

Meanwhile, the baseball team simply ran out of gas and lost to Missouri 2-1. Who knows - probably some of the freshmen hurlers of Coach Savage's team may get drafted by the MLB, but one would think they would come back with a stronger and more experienced team next season.
