So I have heard about the new ranking that everyone is talking about. Call me superstitious but I am not ready to talk about it. I am going to wait to see how we do in our next two games.
As mentioned already, the Bruins play their toughest game of the young season tonight, when they take on the Maryland Terrapins. Kevin Love has been a freshman sensation (as advertised) and the center of a lot of the attention bestowed on our warriors early this season, but we are going to need Shipp's leadership (and controlled athleticism) to pull out a big win tonight against a quality team from the ACC:

Lot of happenings around this game in KC. Earlier on Sunday, Bruin legend Karim Abdul-Jabbar was honored at the new College Basketball Experience (CBE) in KC as he was inducted into National Collegiate Basketball Hall of Fame. In the LAT article this am, Pucin mentioned St. Louis native Mustafa will have all his folks in KC. Even Jaron Rush will be in the House.
In other words, Kansas City is the center of the UCLA basketball universe tonight.
The tip off is set for 4:00 pm PST. You can follow or watch the game by going to this link on the official site. ESPN2 is carrying the game again tonight.
You know the drill. The BN center court is all yours. Fire away.
GO BRUINS.
