Just to follow up on the good news on AA2 below here is Pucin’s notes on injuries:
Kevin Love, forced out of the Yale game after turning his left ankle, also participated in a non-contact practice Monday and will play Wednesday. […]
Point guard Darren Collison, swingman Michael Roll and forward James Keefe have yet to play a minute this season because of injuries.
Keefe, who had shoulder surgery last August, was doing shooting drills three hours before the Yale game and Coach Ben Howland has targeted mid-December for Keefe's return.
Collison, who sprained his left knee in UCLA's first exhibition, has had his return date pushed back twice.
Last Friday Howland said, "I don't know," when asked when Collison will return.
Roll suffered a foot injury in practice the day after that same exhibition and is also expected back in practice in about two weeks.
I know some of us are concerned about how DC’s return date keeps getting pushed back. But I am not too worried about it. In fact if anything it is good to see Coach Howland using an overly cautious approach to these injuries and not encouraging quick returns.Point guard Darren Collison, swingman Michael Roll and forward James Keefe have yet to play a minute this season because of injuries.

Coach Howland’s goal is for this team to improve and develop through the entire season and be in its best form at the end of the season. And all the caution he is exercising right now on the injury front will only help him to meet that goal at the end of the season. So once again as anxious we all are to see those bombs from Love to DC, I don’t think it will kill us to wait a little longer.
Speaking of Love, he was named Pac-10 player of the week. BBR has the details.
GO BRUINS.
