Party at Staples

It’s a festive atmosphere around UCLA basketball these days. Pauley has been electric during the Pac-10 conference season, and it was magical during the last home game against Stanford.

For the first time since Coach Wooden stopped sitting on the Bruin bench with his rolled up program, things feel natural with UCLA hoops:

I think we can expect lot more of that this upcoming week when the Bruins began defending their Pac-10 tourney championship on Thursday afternoon (either against Cal or Oregon State).

Everyone is FIRED UP. Hope all of you around Southern California have already gotten your tickets. And if you have tickets for the game, you should also consider attending the following party with thousands of others Bruin fans before the game.

The UCLA Fan Travel Office is putting together a huge party before the Oregon State game (and they will keep putting these pre game parties on should the Bruins keep advancing through the Pac-10 tourney). The party is going to feature great food and beverages, performances by the UCLA Spirit Squad, UCLA and Adidas giveaways, and special guests. Yes, the Spirit Squad:

That’s from the SI Photo Gallery, they have many more.

So if you want to join those ladies before each UCLA game at the Bruin Bash - UCLA's Official Pre-Game Party, call them at 310-206-2873. Here are some details:

  • Bruin Bash Location: Grand Reserve Club Room, Staples Center in downtown Los Angeles
  • Time: 2 hours prior to tip-off
  • Prices for March 8 Preparty: $35 for adults (cash bar for alcoholic beverages), $15 for kids 12 and under
Again, you can make a reservation for the party on March 8 and others (should the Bruins keep advancing) by calling the UCLA Fan Travel Office at 310-206-2873.

Please Note: You must have a ticket to the UCLA game on the date of the Bash to gain access to the arena. No exceptions.

Of course, if you guys are at these shindigs, make sure to take pics, and email them to us so we can share the spirit with rest of BN.
