Elite CA QB Commits to UCLA ...

Bruins have picked up another football committment. This time its from a Orange County quarterback. Accoring to Blitz and BRO sources (information which is now public on Bruinzone) Nick Crissman, quarterback from Huntington Beach Edison has committed to UCLA. Here is a profile on Crissman:

The junior quarterback from Edison High School is coming off his first season as a varsity starting quarterback.  Crissman tortured opposing defenses all throughout his debut season, finishing with a school-record 3105 yards and 27 touchdowns.  The elite 2008 prospect led Edison to a Sunset League Championship, thanks to an 11-3 overall record and a CIF playoff birth.

The highly touted prospects breakout season earned him a spot on the All-Orange County 2nd team as well as Offensive Back of the Year honors in both the Sunset League and at Edison High School.

The 6'3 196 Ib junior field general comes equipped with pinpoint accuracy, a lightning quick release, and arm strength that makes scouts' jaws drop.  To compliment these talents are a strong work ethic, and a strong desire to improve; making him a sure bet to have an impact at the collegiate level.
For more on Crissman check out his pages on BRO and Blitz. He sounds like a solid get.

Crissman becomes the 14th commit for the class of 2008. Just like rest of his incoming Bruin classmates, he will probably be playing for the different set of coaches at UCLA should the current regime fail to bring a Pac-10 championship to Westwood this coming season. Either way welcome to Crissman.

GO BRUINS.
