Recruiting Team Rankings: Scout Follows Rivals

Last week Rivals came out its first top-25 team rankings for the 07-08 football recruiting season. This week it's Scout's turn. While UCLA was number 1 in Rival's ratings, its number 3 in Scout's. Here is how the top-10 looks:

You can check out the full list by going here. Scout has this on UCLA's class to date:

This is a balanced recruiting class with a little bit of everything in quarterback Nick Crissman (Huntington Beach, Calif.), running backs Aundre Dean (Katy, Texas), Milton Knox (Van Nuys, Calif.), fullback Derrick Coleman (Fullerton, Calif.),  and wide receivers Kemonte Bateman (Los Angeles, Calif.) and Antwon Moutra (Culver City, Calif.) offensively. Like Notre Dame, UCLA really did a  great job on the other side of the ball with defensive ends Damien Holmes (Colton, Calif.) and Datone Jones (Compton, Calif.), linebackers Uona Kaveinga (Lawndale, Calif.), Patrick Larimore (Newhall, Calif.), and Donovan Carter (Van Nuys, Calif.), safeties Rahim Moore (Los Angeles, Calif.) and E.J. Woods (Encino, Calif.) and cornerbacks Anthony Dye (Corona, Calif.) and Aaron Hester (Compton, Calif.).  20 of the Bruins 21 commitments are from the state of California.
As we have said multiple times already. All this early success in recruiting is fine, but none of this is going to matter if Dorrell fails to win a championship on the field.

GO BRUINS.
