Love and OJ traded for each other

Minnesota and Memphis have agreed to a 8 man deal that centers around KL and OJ2

Two league sources told ESPN.com that the Wolves have reached an agreement in principle with the Memphis Grizzlies that will send the draft rights of Mayo, Marko Jaric, Antoine Walker and Greg Buckner to the Grizzlies in return for the draft rights to Kevin Love, Mike Miller, Brian Cardinal and Jason Collins.

The deal is a blockbuster for both teams. ESPN.com reported on Tuesday that the Wolves GM Kevin McHale was infatuated with Love, but felt that the team had to select Mayo and use him to acquire more assets

Interesting...i think KL was actually a better fit in Memphis. He and Al Jefferson are super talented for sure, but there isn't much size in that frontcourt. I liked KL with Darko/Kwame, as bad as those two are, more for his development.

I also don't get why Memphis would want ANOTHER guard (along with Crittenton, Conley, and Lowry) instead of a talented, fundamental post player, which they don't have.

Anyway, hope it all works out for Kevin. Congrats to RW and LRMAM as well. Good night for the bruins, just wish Mata-Real got picked. Hopefully he'll end up somewhere.
