EagleBank Bowl Preview Podcast Open Thread (4:45 pm PST)

We're almost there boys and girls. We are just two days away from seeing the Bruins close out their 2009 season with the first bowl game under Rick Neuheisel when they take on the Temple Owls in Washington DC. It will be a tough game against a Temple Owls team that will surely be playing with fire in an ice cold stadium, giving UCLA plenty of obstacles to overcome. As we saw with the Bruins' Emerald Bowl loss to Florida St. in 2006, a bowl game loss could lead to disastrous things in the following season, but at the same time, a win could do wonders for a program's momentum. There is plenty riding on this game so we will give you a super in-depth look at the game.

Josh is in DC to give us his quick takes on what it feels like to be there, while we both will give you everything you need to know for the game. In addition, Mike Gibson from TempleFootballForever.blogspot.com, a tremendous site for everything Temple football, will join us and give us a great look at what we can expect from the Owls on Tuesday.

The show starts at 4:45 pm PST and you can listen live by clicking play above or you can listen afterward by clicking play or by checking out iTunes. This is your football podcast open thread so you can get your comments and questions in, which we'll look at work into the show.
