Center Court: Ben Ball (Arizona State) Open Thread

Here we go. In about half an hour Howland's Bruins take on Arizona State for our Pac-10 opener at Pauley. The 5-7 Bruins will have an uphill climb against 10-3 Sun Devils, who have always given our guys a hard time under Sendek. However, if the Bruins somehow manage to pull an "upset" this afternoon, it might have a chance to reset this 2009 season.

You can read up (or listen to) our musings on this game here. We have some good news/bad news re. TV broadcast. The good news is that we will get to see the game on TV via FSN/PT. The bad news is that we will have to suffer through the typical worthless color commentary of Steve Physioc and Marques Johnson. We can fully expect Marques to show how "impartial" he is by going on and on about the awesomeness of Glasser and ASU's zone defense. Who knows Marques might find some time to fawn all over OJ2 as well.
