The first preseason poll as released and Collegiate Baseball has the Bruins ranked third in the nation behind TCU and Florida, two teams UCLA beat in last year's College World Series. There are a total of seven Pac-10 teams in the top 40, including a trio of teams at number nine, ten and 11.
