They did it last week and this week, we find out of they can do it again. Last week, UCLA dropped their series opener to Oregon St., but battled back to take the next two and the series. Last night, UCLA was bested by Oregon and now, they must win their next two if they are to win the Pac-10 set. It's the same thing that happened when the Bruins and Ducks squared off in Eugene last year. Oregon took the series opener, but UCLA won the last two and came away happy. If they can do it again this year, they'll come away even happier.

Trevor Bauer will be charged with getting things backs on track for UCLA. The sophomore is 5-1 with a 1.95 ERA and is coming off of a start in which he didn't allow a run in 7.1 innings. The man on the mound trying to win the series for the Ducks is senior Justin LaTempa. LaTempa does have the highest opponent's batting average among Oregon starters, but he's still 2-2 with a 3.44 ERA.

The game gets underway at 2 pm PDT at Jackie Robinson Stadium and the Bruins will be looking to avoid consecutive losses for the first time this year. As is the case for all home games, you can listen to it or follow it on GameTracker. You can also stay up to date on all things UCLA baseball from game updates to news to analysis to links on my UCLA baseball twitter. This is your game thread for tonight's contest so have at it.
