Tyler Rahmatulla was among 4 Bruin batters who had 2 hits a piece (besides Blair Dunlap who went 3 for 4) during last night's 13-7 win over Southern Cal Trojans.  Rahmatulla and his team-mates will look to keep their hitting rhythm going this afternoon against Troy when they get started at Jackie Robinson Stadium around 2 pm PST.

Trevor Bauer (7-3, 3.01 ERA) will start for the Bruins this afternoon going up against Southern Cal's Chris Mezger (4-0, 2.57 ERA). Ryan's recap of Bruins relying upon solid fundamentals last night was encouraging. I hope they can keep that going. It would be very nice if our guys can find a consistent rhythm in playing small ball as they get ready to face solid pitching down the stretch during this Pac-10 season and beyond.

As mentioned the first pitch is scheduled for tonight at 2 pm PST. You can also follow along with GameTracker or get updates on Ryan's UCLA baseball twitter. So might as well thread this as our game thread with updates, thoughts, analysis and anything else.

GO BRUINS.
