It comes to this; one final chance for the UCLA football team to open up the throttle and give the performance that myself and so many others believe they are capable of. It would be a shame to see the performance displayed on a game that seemingly means so little, especially after middling through a season that meant so much, but it is a performance that I would love to see nonetheless.

We have talked about Illinois enough. You can read Part I and Part II of the Illinois preview in those threads. This thread is about our team, particularly our seniors, who have one chance to let go of all of the season's frustrations and play for the sake of playing. We have 15 seniors on the roster, none of which are locks for NFL careers. Yes, Derrick Coleman, Nelson Rosario, Tony Dye will get looks, and probably a couple more will as well, but this may very well be the last time any of the seniors suit up for anything but a preseason game. There are no guarantees.

This may be the Kraft "I don't give a crap" Bowl, but deep down, all of us know that we actually do give a crap. That's why we're fans. We care. We watch. We show emotion. We are all waiting for this team to explode and send the seniors out on a high note while ushering in the Jim L. Mora era. Win or lose, here's to hoping that our guys go out knowing that they gave their all one last time for UCLA.

The game thread will go up around 12:00 PST. Until then, share your thoughts and comments here.
