The link goes to a UCLA press release with an exciting announcement. The game against UDub in Seattle on March 3 will tip at 6:00 pm and will be televised live by ESPN or ESPN2. We are going to be breathless for anticipation of this national tv "appearance." It will most likely be an ugly slaughter. Bruins might get a moral victory but it won't mean much for our tourney chances. If they some how pull out a miraculous win, it will raise questions about Sunday' night's effort v. Cal.
Also, the regular-season finale at Washington State on March 5 will tip at 2:30 pm and will be televised live by Fox Sports Net (Prime Ticket in Los Angeles). This is not going to be an easy game either.
Bruins need to win at least 2 more games in their remaining 4 regular season games to keep themselves in the NCAA bubble. They will then need to win at least 1 game in the Pac-10 tournament to feel safe of selection day.
If the Bruins want to lock up a tourney bid during regular season they need to win 3 out of their last 4 games. The loss in Berkeley might not have ended the season but it was costly.
