After another dominating performance on Saturday by Trevor Bauer - something becoming routine this season from Trevor - the Bruins look to the arm of Adam Plutko to salvage a series victory over Cal State Bakersfield this afternoon. The Roadrunners answer with their southpaw starter, Jonathan Montoya (7-4, 3.64 era) for the 1pm game at Jackie Robinson Stadium.
Baseball is not the only Bruin sport competing this afternoon. While the Women's Water Polo fell to Cal yesterday in the NCAA semifinals, they will be competing in the tournament's third-place match at noon today, against $C. On campus, the Women's Tennis team has an NCAA Tournament second-round match against San Diego at the LA Tennis Center, also starting at noon.
