Last weekend saw quite a bit of action by the various UCLA teams. Let's take a look back at how the last week unfolded, and what is left in store for the upcoming few days.

Softball

Last weekend saw the Bruins close out the regular season with a series at Oregon, losing 2 of the 3 games in Eugene. UCLA finished the season with a 33-17 record, 9-12 in the Pac-10 and enters the NCAA Tournament unseeded. This week, the team travels to Florida to participate in the Gainesville regional. The Bruins will play Jacksonville on Friday afternoon, and one of Florida/Bethune-Cookman on Saturday. The regional championship game - and a berth in the Super Regional is on Sunday morning. Games will be available on ESPN3.com

Men's Tennis

Last weekend saw the Bruins host the first two round of the NCAA Tournament, cruising to a 4-0 victory over SUNY-Binghamton, before facing a strong challenge from Ole Miss, nearly losing in the regional phase of the tournament for the first time ever. UCLA pulled out a 4-3 win, advancing to a Round of 16 game against Baylor at Stanford. The tournament will continue in Palo Alto throughout the weekend, with the Championships wrapping up on Tuesday, May 24.

Women's Tennis

The #6-seed Bruin team opened tournament play with a 4-0 win over Quinnipiac, and a 4-0 second round win over San Diego to advance to the Round of 16 in Palo Alto. There, the Bruins will face the University of Virginia as the next step in their pursuit of a national championship.

Women's Golf

The UCLA Golf team is ready to return to action after a two-week break after winning the NCAA's Central Regional, hosted by Notre Dame. The NCAA Women's Golf Championship is being hosted by Texas A&M, beginning tomorrow, and concluding on Saturday in College Station.

Men's Golf

The #2-ranked Men's Golf team earned the top seed in the Western Regional, being hosted by the University of San Diego in Rancho Santa Fe, starting on Thursday and concluding on Saturday. If the Bruins advance, the NCAA Championships are being hosted by Oklahoma State in Stillwater between May 31st and June 2nd.

Women's Water Polo

The water polo team completed their season last weekend at the NCAA Tournament held in Ann Arbor. The Bruins lost to Cal in the national semifinal by a score of 7-4, but defeated U$C in Sunday's Third-Place game, 6-5.
