The regular season is over. Every game is in the books and all UCLA can do now is wait and watch. That's because they have to sit around until the selection show comes on at 9:30 am PDT and tells them who will join them at Jackie Robinson Stadium for the Regionals, which begin on Friday and run through the weekend. That point about being at Jackie Robinson Stadium is the one thing they do know. They will be hosting the Regional, a major advantage for the Bruins at the end of what has been an up and down season.
For an idea of what the Bruins are looking at in the selection show, check this out. It's not as if I'm the one to turn to with predictions though. After all, I've been nothing but wrong in guessing what the selection committee will do. One thing I can guarantee is that this morning UCLA will learn their road to Omaha, where they hope to return for the College World Series and win two more games than they did a year ago. Tune in to ESPN at 9:30 am PDT for the selection show and use this thread to share any thoughts, questions and observations as the show goes on.
