Happy 6th Birthday Bruins Nation - Introducing The BN Scholarship Program

Hey folks, and good afternoon. Today is a pretty cool day, for a couple of reasons. First off, it was 6 years ago this morning that Nestor and Co launched Bruins Nation. Happy Birthday to us, and to all of you who have been reading this blog and participating in our shared community over the past 6 years. Here's to many more!

As I teased, there is another cool thing about today. The editors of Bruins Nation are proud to announce the creation of the Bruins Nation Scholarship program. This summer, we will be selecting up to two current UCLA students or recent alumni to join us on the front page of Bruins Nation for the 2011-12 academic year - through the summer of 2012. The two people selected will be expected to contribute strongly to Bruins Nation throughout the year,with each selectee to be awarded a scholarship of $4,000.

Details regarding the program, including application information, criteria and the relevant time-line will be disclosed in another dedicated front page post within the next couple of weeks.
