Well, the long awaited first game started off in an ugly way, as the Cougars marched down the field at will on the opening drive. The long suffering Bruin fans appeared ready to abandon ship halfway through the first quarter. But Johonathan Franklin, Joseph Fauria, and Richard Brehaut who stepped in for an injured Kevin Prince (hopefully just a stinger) refuse to give up, and have gotten the offense moving.
The defense has to find a way to slow down the Cougars' passing attack, and make this is a winnable game. If they don't, Houston is going to score a ton more and the offense's efforts won't matter. Either way, every Bruin needs to stick around for the second half and be a fan. Here is your second half thread. Have at it.
