BN Gameday: Southern Cal at UCLA Second Half Game Thread

Well - how do you do Bruins? It's half time at the Rose Bowl and our UCLA Bruins are up against Southern Cal by a score of 24-14. The game got off to an explosive start just like Arizona as the Bruins took advantage of two Trojan turnovers and went up by a score of 17-0. The Trojans have gotten back into the game a bit which is not a surprise given the explosive weapons they have in their offense. But it's still a huge deal for the Bruins to go into the half time with this lead. Here is the box score.

Brett Hundley got off to an amazing start putting the Bruins up a score of 24-0, reminding Gus of Warren Moon. He finished the half with 143 passing yards, completing 16 of 19 pass attempts and 2 TDs (1 rushing). His back-field mate Johnathan Franklin is having a solid first half as he has rushed for 74 yards in 13 carries and a TD. He also has 2 receptions for 14 yards.

There is a long way to go in this second. The Trojans got some momentum in their last two drives but Bruins can and should take care of unfinished business in the second half. We got 30 more minutes to climb the mountain.
