BN College Football Saturday Open Thread

Open college football thread tracking left-over non UCLA action - including one involving a possible UCLA opponent in our upcoming bowl game - and any CFB topic not related to UCLA.

I am not sure if I will have the stomach for more football today or this weekend. It's hard to even think about the game after taking a punch like this. But there will be bunch of games on for the junkies, including one between UCLA's possible next opponent - Oklahoma State in the Alamo Bowl (although I much rather have the Bruins go to the Holiday Bowl). Here are the games scheduled for today (all times Pacific):

  • 9:00 AM No. 11 Oklahoma at TCU (ESPN)
  • 9:00 AM No. 23 Oklahoma State at Baylor (ESPN2)
  • 11:30 AM Kansas at West Virginia
  • 1:00 PM No. 2 Alabama vs. No. 3 Georgia (CBS) [SEC Championship]
  • 5:00 PM No. 18 Texas at No. 6 Kansas State (ABC)
  • 5:00 PM No. 13 Florida State vs. Georgia Tech(ESPN) [ACC Championship]
  • 5:00 PM Np. 12 Nebraska vs. Wisconsin (FOX) [Big-12 Championship]

We will post thoughts on bowl projections later today. But throwing this up here for those who are hanging around here, and watching the games all day today.
