UCLA should always be the best college basketball team in California. But we really don't have an argument. While UCLA was losing to Cal Poly, San Diego State was winning their 25th straight over California teams in beating PAC 12 USC. That said, San Diego may be without two starters, including their best outside shooter, who are game time decisions. UCLA is favored in this game.
So what does a win in this game mean? A nice Sunday morning. But because of losses to Cal Poly and four bad seasons in a row, this game -- while a must win -- is merely a stepping stone both for California bragging rights and for any slim chance to salvage this season. A loss is just another log on the bonfire or the dumpster fire. When will Dan Guerrero act?
The official preview is here. Tony Parker is day to day which means the Bruins could be playing a top 25 team with only seven scholarship players. Thanks Ben. San Diego has an interesting interview on the game here. The Bruins Nation preview is here.
Go Bruins.
