Gamethread for Basketball: CSSM at UCLA

UCLA has fallen so low their exhibition opponents are having better seasons.

How much will Tony Parker, who is finally healthy, play tonight?

Tonight UCLA risks, well nothing. Would anyone be really surprised if UCLA lost tonight's exhibition game at this point? And guess which team is ranked? That's right the Cal State San Marcos Cougars are ranked #9, in the NAIA D-1 poll. So the real question with Long Beach coming up is how many out of conference teams from California is UCLA going to lose to this season? Will CSSM be one of them?

Some quick facts on CSSM:

Probable Starters - Quick Facts
G - Danny Redmon: 10-of-14 (71.4%) from the field last week.
G - Jose Rivera: Has made three or more 3-pointers in nine of 10 games this year.
F - Jacob Ranger: Has scored in double digits in three of his last five games.
F - Quincy Lawson: 14 points, six boards and five steals in win over OBU.
F - Ali Langford: 14-of-22 (63.6%) from the floor in wins over OBU and Bethesda.

More on CSSM here. The UCLA preview is here. For the masochists on Bruins Nation a live stream of the game will be here starting at 7:30 Pacific. Ironically, CSSM is coached by a former UCLA assistant under Lavin. So if we lose it will be kind of like Lavin beating Howland, just like last year.

I will watch to root for the players. Go Bruins.
