#8Clap! from Adrian Klemm...that means something good!
Alex Redmond, a 6-5 and 302 lb 4 Star offensive guard from local powerhouse Los Alamitos H.S. and one of the top offensive linemen on the west coast, has given a verbal committment to come to Westwood. Redmond had initially committed to Oregon over the summer, but then de-committed about 3 weeks ago so he could explore other options. Coach Mora and Coach Klemm visited Redmond's home Friday evening and secured his commitment. Redmond is rated in the top 15 guards in the country per Scout.
Check out some of the video of our newest Bruin below. Redmond is left guard, #51, the one killing opponents.

Anyone hungry for some pancakes right now?
Redmond joins a recruiting class that is currently ranked #11 and will likely move higher with his addition. The class is already deep with 6 offensive linemen and will bolster a young OL that really overachieved this season and will return 4 starters including All-American Xavier Su'a-Filo next year. Adrian Klemm continues to do a masterful job recruiting outstanding talent for the Bruins who are going to be absolutely loaded at offensive line for the next few years. Brett Hundley, Damien Thigpen, and Jordon James, among others, will be very happy today.
The Bruins staff still has some work to do before filling out this class, but they are off to an outstanding start. It is important that the Bruins build on the success of this year and get a big bowl win in San Diego to maintain their momentum so far and set up the program for the next several years to come.
All together now...Line Wins Games! Hands up, Bruins, and....One, two, three, four..
Welcome to Westwood, Alex!
