It comes down to this. UCLA is a game behind Arizona for the Pac-12 title, but as importantly, they have split the first two games of their series with Oregon St. and need a win today to take the three-game set. With conference titles, Regional hosts and national seeds on the line, every win matters and every series win is five times as vital.
Zack Weiss will be on the bump for UCLA. He looked good in his return to the rotation last week, allowing two runs in six innings. Dan Chils, who is 4-2 with a 1.93 ERA will start for the Beavers.
As he has been for the last two weekends, John Ramey is on the road for the weekend so he has the call online. Of course, make sure to check my UCLA baseball twitter for game updates, notes, observations and everything else on the program. This is your open thread for today's rubber match so have at it.
