It's time for Easter weekend with Oregon in town. As much as some people would like to skip ahead and get to next weekend's series against Arizona, this weekend is still a big one. The Ducks are a top 25 team and have road series wins against Vanderbilt, Arizona St. and Long Beach St. this year so looking past them could be disastrous.
Adam Plutko gets the nod for the Bruins today. He'll be hoping to find the plate and no give away the free passes that have hurt him in past weeks, but it hasn't stopped him from getting outs. The sophomore is still 4-1 with a 2.58 ERA this year, even with the walks, and is in contention for Pac-12 Pitcher of the Year so walks or not, he's gooooood. He'll have to be good today, too, because he's going up against Alex Kuedell and his 2.40 ERA.
If you aren't going to the Jack tonight then tune into John Ramey and Tim Wilhelm, who will have the call online. You can also get all the game updates, notes, observations and all the other goodies from my UCLA baseball twitter. This is your Oregon series opener open thread so share updates as well as your thoughts and reactions here.
