UCLA Gymnastics is in Fayetteville, Arkansas today at 2pm to compete at NCAA Regionals. The top two teams from this competition will move onto the NCAA Semi-Finals on April 20, 2012 in Georgia.

UCLA is competing against No. 10 Arkansas, No. 15 Boise State, No. 19 Missouri, No. 29 New
Hampshire, and No. 34 Maryland. UCLA is the No. 1 ranked team in the Regional, and the No. 3 ranked team overall in the country. Check out our preview to learn more about our opponents. UCLA has won their Regional 19 times.
If you are watching live, UCLA will begin the meet on the uneven bars, then move to the beam, followed by a bye, the floor, the vault, and ending the meet with a bye, meaning the team will need to watch everyone else to determine their final placement.
Bruins to watch will be Vanessa Zamarripa, who finished the season ranked no. 1 in the country with a score of 9.935. In general, watch the Bruins on the vault - they are the highest scoring team in the country on the apparatus. Also watch for Samantha Peszek and Elyse Hopfner-Hibbs, who are tied with the highest all-around scores on the team this season at 39.575.
