After defeating Washington, 2-0, last night at Safeco Field, UCLA will move back on campus to Husky Ballpark today for the middle game of their Pac-12 series. The Bruins' offense was quiet last night, but with the way Adam Plutko pitched, it didn't matter. Plutko isn't on the mound today, though, which means UCLA is going to need a little bit more from their offense.

Nick Vander Tuig will be on the mound for UCLA. He'll be trying to finish six innings for the first time since mid-March. He's 6-3 with a 5.15 ERA and really all he tries to is keep the Bruins in the game, but he'll be hoping to keep them in the game a little longer today. Opposite Vander Tuig will be Washington's sensational freshman Tyler Davis, who is 2-2 with a 2.59 ERA this season.

John Ramey is up in Seattle so he will have the call online, but Washington is fantastic and also has streaming video of today's contest. GameTracker will be going all weekend and, of course, make sure to check my UCLA baseball twitter for game updates, notes, observations and everything else on the program. This is your open thread so keep it going with updates and anything else you have.
