As has been fanshotted - news is out that ILB Patrick Larimore is taking a medical retirement. It's the right decision for a young man who has already suffered multiple concussions. It's not something a kid (he is still a kid) should take lightly. Concussions is something you just don't mess around with.
We really applaud Larimore for making the right call and also Coach Mora for helping him through this decision. Bruins will certainly miss the "old school" LB mindset and physicality of Larimore. However, we also beleive Bruins have enough talented young players on the team, who will step up.
So join us in thanking Patrick for everything he has done for those four letters in Bruin blue and gold. We wish him luck. His Bruin family is going to be with him and root him on in the next chapter of his life.
GO BRUINS.
