We won a football game!
Great win tonight for Bruin Nation. Felt really good to get in there in the end. Excited for next week. #GoBruins

The Pac-12 Offensive Player of the Week says:

A great mindset by Joe Fauria:
Great win today for the UCLA Bruins. The first of many. Still have plenty to improve on tomorrow's film to be ready to for the Home Opener!
— Joseph Fauria (@BigJoeFauria) August 31, 2012
Touchdown for Brett Hundley on his first collegiate play! The recruiting was worth it.
— Rick Neuheisel (@CoachNeuheisel) August 30, 2012
And thank you for not burning his redshirt last year.
Anyone want to tell Ruffman why?
UCLA fans have an interesting problem of getting way to high and way to low on their team. I've never been able to fully understand that.
— Jacob Ruffman (@JacobRuffman) August 31, 2012
Two people talking about football that I didn't expect to ever talk about football.
Listen to @iamdiddy talk some UCLA Football with @ryanseacrest around the 3 min. mark: bit.ly/O1gHIz

If you're celeb watching at the Rose Bowl this weekend, Diddy will be there.
New Bruins are coming to campus!
At the airport waiting to board my flight to LAX! I can't believe I'm off to UCLA! Soo excited to be a bruin! Bring on the college life ✈
— Peng Peng Lee (@PengPengCLee) September 5, 2012
I can't wait to watch Peng Peng compete for UCLA. She'll probably compete on select apparatuses this season as she is still recovering from a knee injury, and Coach Kondos-Field tends to bring her freshmen along slowly. She has that luxury with good recruiting.
Another earthquake, everyone. Did you feel it?
Was there really an earthquake cause me and kyle was just walking outside ?
— Jordan Adams (@jordanadams1231) September 3, 2012
LOL yes Jordan, just because of that.
Best of luck to Carlos Bocanegra:
Just finished signing paper work a bit ago. 1 year loan to Racing Santander. Excited for my new challenge, but sad to leave so many friends

And remember, you can keep on top of the US soccer scene at Stars and Stripes FC on SBN.
Maurice Jones-Drew has ended his holdout, and fellow Bruin and teammate Marcedes Lewis is happy:
Great to have my boy MJD back in the building! #work

Bruins forever:
Redskins TE Logan Paulsen - my brother and former teammate has decided to grow his beard until I am able to walk. #Truelove #fearthebeard

Chris Kluwe is writing a new blog. It's interesting.
In case you missed it last night, I put up a new blog post. It has words. And stuff. blogs.twincities.com/outofbounds/20…

And now, to make you feel super old:
Who did mufasa from lion king voice?? The blind man from sandlot ??
— Vinny Chase (@KyleAnderson5) September 5, 2012
I really wanted to say "It's Darth Vader!" or "the guy from Field of Dreams!" but I'm starting to date myself.
Just received a $300,000 medical bill. Good thing my insurance covered 70% - Time to crack the piggy bank. #costsalegandthensome #fml
— Nick Ekbatani (@nickekbatani) September 5, 2012
Oh boy. Nick has also been writing blog entries about his experiences, and he stated he will be losing his insurance soon. Anyone with job leads for Nick in his time of need...
Go Bruins.
