First things first.
This has the potential to be a special season for U.C.L.A. as the Bruins have an opportunity to start out 5-0 for the first time since 2005. But that can only happen if the Bruins take care of business tonight against what looks like an over matched opponent. Of course, we were saying the same thing last year ahead of the game with Berkeley, and we all remember what happened during that visit to the Bay Area. Coach Mora and the Bruins have been working hard this week to make everyone stays focused and they will get a chance to atone for that game tonight in Pasadena. The Bruins are expecting their largest crowd of the season and Coach Mora has encouraged the fans to bring the home field advantage.
Kickoff is at 7:30 PT and TV coverage is on ESPN2. A link to the radio broadcast is here, and live stats can be followed here. You can see our hub for all of this week's practice reports and previews here.
For those of us tuning in to BN tonight, let's see the same passion and intensity here that Mora expects from the faithful in the Rose Bowl.
This is our first half open thread. Have at it.
GO BRUINS!!
