GameThread for UCSB at UCLA

Now the real games begin. How will UCLA do?

Which big will step up and which big will start to see his minutes drop?

How deceiving are records? UCLA is 7-0 but have only played one decent team. UCSB is 3-2 but both their losses were tight games against good teams without their best player. That best player, Big West Player of the Week 6'7" Alan Williams is just the kind of player that could give UCLA fits. He is a good big who can score and dominate the boards.

Steve Alford has the offense where he wants it to be, how will it do against better competition? If the game is close, who will see their minutes drop? Will UCLA have an answer on defense for Williams?

The game is at 8:05 p.m. on the PAC 12 Network with Don MacLean doing the commentary. The official preview is here.

Go Bruins!
