There was a little bit of "extracurricular activity" during the first half between Arizona's Mark Lyons and our Larry Drew II. UCLA held a narrow lead over Arizona when Lyons torched Drew for an easy layup. As Drew brought it back up the floor, Lyons was clearly trying to get inside his head as he obviously started to trash talk while in a deep defensive stance. Drew would get his payback soon after on a Zona fast break as he ripped the ball away from the driving Lyons and took it the other way. He then dished it off to Kyle Anderson who then got fouled on a soft layup that rolled in. The ESPN broadcast then showed him softly clapping his hands and staring directly at Lyons as he walked past him on the court. This was clearly evidence of Larry Drew II's resilience and ability to dish back some trash talk when appropriate as the Bruins dominated the 11th ranked Wildcats.
