S Dietrich Riley is still out with a separated shoulder but Mora anticipates that he'll be back.
WR Shaquelle Evans sat out because of the flu.

Mora also specifically praised the efforts and improvements of Kody Innes, Aaron Porter, Taylor Lagace and Randall Goforth. He mentioned the assertiveness and confidence of Goforth after playing his freshman year and reasserts his high hopes for Ka'imi Fairbairn, even going as far as saying that Fairbairn has the potential to be an All-American and "one of the best at UCLA."
Kick returners are up in the air. Damien Thigpen, Devin Fuller, Ahmaad Harris, Evans are mentioned as potential candidates.
ICYMI according to the Seattle Times former UCLA S Tevin McDonald will be transferring to Eastern Washington.
