Our thoughts are with all those affected by the Boston Marathon explosions:
#NERevs' Matt Reis’ father-in-law was injured in today’s explosion & family has requested privacy. Thoughts, prayers are w/ the Reis family.

Reis played at UCLA in the late 90's.
Sydney Leroux just started playing for Boston in the new National Women's Soccer League.
Tragedy should never follow triumph. Very sad day. My friends and I are all okay, thank you everyone for all your prayers and love. #boston

It's difficult to transition from such a tragedy. It's an accomplishment to finish a marathon, with friends and family cheering you on, and that someone wanted to take that happiness away... it's heartbreaking. As someone who runs (slowly) in races, I'd hate to start crossing finish lines in fear.
If you can, please see "42"
Anybody w/ young ball fan over age of, say, 8 who doesn't know that chapter of US sports history, take 'em to '42'. Some powerful scenes.

:D (If you don't understand Twitterspeak, Caleb snapped a picture of my twitter post from last week, and then posted it on his Twitter page, tagging it at Asiantti, who enjoyed it also. Whew.)
If you'll be at the spring game with the other #50k, Christian Morris will also be there:

Unfortunately the draft didn't work out for Markel Walker, but hopefully she'll be signed by a team.

Watch a super young Sophina DeJesus before you watch her compete for a NCAA title this weekend:
It sure is @sophina_dejesus! RT @uncletimmensgym: Is this @uclagymnastics's Sophina DeJesus on the Maury show? youtube.com/watch?v=92-oTc…

— Scott Quessenberry (@ScootsyQ) April 15, 2013
Home Alone 1 and 2 are the best.
I think all parents feel a bit of sadness when their kids leave them... even after a short visit.
My mom always get sad when I have to leave home and go back to Westwood 😔

Do you believe in horoscopes?
horoscopes aren't real people, stop letting people tell you how your future's gonna turn out.. you control your future

One of my favorite sayings ever.
If you fail to plan, you plan to fail. #SetGoals

Your thought of the week:
Don't measure yourself by what you have accomplished, but by what you should have accomplished with your ability
— Devin Fuller (@Devin7Fuller) April 12, 2013
Go Bruins.
