Some details have been released about Nick Pasquale's accident this morning in San Clemente.

From the Daily News:

According to a press release from the Orange County Coroner’s office, Pasquale was struck by a car at approximately 1:27 a.m. He was walking near the intersection of Camino De Los Mares and Calle Nuevo, a residential area.

Many players went home for the bye weekend, and Pasquale usually went back to San Clemente High to watch their games:

Pasquale made it a point to visit his school often, and was wearing UCLA colors during the game.

From the Daily Bruin:

The vehicle was identified as a Mercedes sedan and was heading westbound on Camino De Los Mares at the time of the accident, Hallock said. There is no indication of alcohol or drug use on the part of the driver at this point in the investigation, he added.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

There will be a vigil tonight:

Our thoughts are with his family at this time.
