The Bruins will take on the Golden Bears at 5:00 tonight at Pauley Pavilion, fresh off their 91-74 beatdown of a mediocre Stanford team led by Tony Parker's 22 points and 7 rebounds. UCLA comes into this matchup with a record of 15-4 (4-2 in Pac-12 conference games).
The Bears looked to provide a bit of a test for UCLA, as they headed into this week in the road series against the Los Angeles schools undefeated in their first 5 Pac-12 games. However, the Bears were exposed a little bit, losing to the worst basketball school in the conference in Southern Cal and dropped to 5-1 in Pac-12 play and 15-4 overall. No reason why Kyle Anderson, Zach Lavine and company should not pick up a victory and take possession of second place in the Pac-12.
The matchup can be viewed on ESPNU, or track it through the exceptionally mediocre UCLA Athletics website here.
UC Berkeley has 6 players averaging 8 or more points, so the entire Bruins defense (including Bryce Alford and the Wears) will need to defend.
Go Bruins!
