UCLA Basketball -- Coastal Carolina Game Thread: Not Your Ordinary Cupcake

Tournament team Coastal Carolina (1-0) visits Pauley tonight at 7PM PT. They're probably not a cupcake, so we may learn a lot about the Bruins tonight. Here's your game thread.

Coastal Carolina (CC), 1-0, visits Pauley Pavilion tonight with tip-off set for 7:05 PM PT. You can catch the game on PAC-12 Networks.  Jim Watson and Don MacLean will be calling it. You can also listen on Tunein Radio or 570 AM. Follow along with the cool new live stats.

UCLA is favored by 17.5 at this writing, but look out if the Bruins get off to a slow start and spot CC a comfortable lead or the guard pressure is too much for the Bruins to handle.  We may finally learn what Alford really has in mind for the season in a close game and not a glorified practice:

  • How many minutes do the starters play?

  • What combinations do we see on the floor?

  • Is the bench shortened?
