"The Drive" Episode 1 Open Thread

Anthony Jefferson celebrates after getting an interception. - Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

Tonight at 7 p.m. Pacific Time, the Pac-12 network will air its first episode of "The Drive: Pac-12 Football" and we thought it would be fun to have an open thread for the community to watch it together. So here it is! We expect most, if not all, of the 1st episode to take place at training camp in San Bernardino. But we will just have to wait and see. The series will continue on a weekly basis throughout the season.

Last year, the show focused on two schools (Berkeley and ASU). This year it will be all Bruins. From the website:

For the second season, Pac-12 Networks goes behind the scenes with The Drive: Pac-12 Football to give viewers an unprecedented, all-access look at UCLA's quest for the Pac-12 Championship. The documentary-style program will showcase the student-athletes, coaches and the dedication it takes to compete at the highest level.

There is already a good deal of content (photos, video) available at the show's website. Here are a few samplings. First, some sights and conversation with Brett Hundley talking about his first days at UCLA:

Next, a sneak peak preview the Pac-12 released on Sunday which features Randall Goforth, Brett Hundley, and Coach Mora:

Let's be the team that's the great example around the country...

Let's make sure that every day, everything we do is beyond reproach.

And yes, I really like that quote, so I quote it often!

Coach Mora spoke about "The Drive" and how it is different than "Hard Knocks". He said the Pac-12 is a partner with UCLA and not out to create controversy with their content. Huge thanks to JoeBruin15 for posting the video of Mora's thoughts on the program.

You can find "The Drive" on Pac-12 Network channels at 7 p.m. (pt). It is 30 minutes long and will be rebroadcast many times. Check out the complete schedule and times for "The Drive".

I hope you enjoy and...

Go Bruins!
