The Bruins are heading to the Sweet 16 on Friday. Today we get to find out which interesting opponent we will face (you know it's all a coincidence, right?). Will it be Steve Alford's former team? Or, will it be the team that helped make Aaron Afflalo one of the most beloved Bruins of all time?
Here's a little light reading (and viewing) for this Sunday morning:
- Zach "The Intern" Helfand of the L.A. Times discusses the interesting histories with both programs this morning.
- The official site has highlights from yesterday's victory over UAB, featuring Tony Parker's domination inside. And Jack Wang has a few photos of the same.
- The N.Y. Times focuses on how the Bruins really played team ball yesterday, as UCLA turned to one extraordinary offensive player after another. From UAB's Coach Haase:
They have five guys that are all unique that all can, again, hurt you.
So it's on to the Sweet 16 for our young men.
