UCLA Basketball: Colorado Game Thread -- Can The Bruins Get Revenge At Home

UCLA pulled off a stunner Thursday night against Utah while Colorado beat USC in triple overtime. Both teams may be emotionally spent, but the Bruins should be able to exact revenge at home against the Josh Scott-less Buffaloes. Can they stick to the new winning formula? That is, add a dash of aggressive Norman Powell to the inside-out game.

Richard Mackson-USA TODAY Sports

The UCLA Bruins (12-9, 4-4) host the Colorado Buffaloes (16-3, 6-1) tonight at Pauley Pavilion. Tip-off is set for 7:30 PM PT. You can catch the game on Pac-12 Networks. Roxy Bernstein and Bill Walton (he's getting progressively anti-Bryce and Isaac, and, I think, implied that Steve Alford should not have been allowed to "transfer" into UCLA while Hamilton had to sit out a year). You can also listen on Tunein Radio or 570 AM. Follow along with live stats here.

Vegas has UCLA as the 4 point favorite.

Let's hope tonight is not a letdown game after that totally unexpected upset of No. 11 Utah two days ago. With all the NCAA bid talk in the comment threads, the Bruins better not disappoint. I have a feeling both teams will be tired.

Colorado beat just SC in triple OT without Josh Scott who did not make the LA trip. Xavier Johnson did play after missing four games. Askia Booker, who makes Bryce Alford look like shy altar boy John Stockton, scored 43 points.

I don't know if the Bruins can sustain the same energy level, but all they have to do is play according to the new plan: inside-out with a big dash of aggressive Norman.

Enjoy the game thread with your fellow BNers and Bruins.
